East Africa’s plains are home to the last great herds of wildlife in Africa. There are almost 100 species of grazers, compared with Europe’s 13 and North Americas 11. These species, together with a large variety of predators and scavengers, make East Africa the last Eden. Overall, there are an impressive 1116 species of mammal in the region.

Game viewing in East Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda), what’s so special? Feel the thrill and adventure of a close encounter with the wilderness composed of the big five. The roar of lions echoing across the endless savannah, the sound of crickets under a star studded sky. This is normally what is experienced on the game drives in the magnificent paradise national parks in East Africa. Although each game park offers its own dimension to game viewing, like Tanzania and Kenya offering trip of lifetime, the annual migration of wildlife between Serengeti national park in Tanzania and Maasai mara national park in Kenya that involves of almost two million wildebeest, zebras and other species is
nature’s greatest spectacle on earth between July and October.

Uganda’s national parks such Murchison falls, kidepo and Queen Elizabeth national parks also offer spectacular view of the mammals like buffaloes,
leopards, eland, lions, giraffe’s elephants. Queen Elizabeth national park offers the rare tree climbing lions always hovering on the branches of very old fig trees.

In additional to game viewing Uganda national parks offers boat cruises along the lakes and rivers within the national park. Like the great and largest River Nile with its source beginning in jinja in Uganda. This river helps to offer boat trips to the bottom of the falls in Murchison falls where the park derives its name and these trips en-route sights of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants and various bird species.

Normally the game drives are conducted both early morning and evening to catch up with the mammals and also late at night and these are conducted in closed vehicle’s.
