Encounter Mara is a luxury, tented camp located in the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, which is part of Kenya’s famous Masai Mara ecosystem. The design of the camp is eco-friendly and consists of a central lounge tent with a view over a salt-lick, and an outdoor relaxation area. Go on game drives in the Masai Mara, with the camp’s own expertly trained and knowledgeable Maasai guides.

Depending on the time you choose to visit, you may also see the annual Wildebeest Migration in the Mara, although this area is great for year-round wildlife viewing and offers excellent sightings. The Mara Naboisho Conservancy offers a high density of wildlife and a low density of other tourists, making for a truly memorable safari away from the crowds.

Dining

All meals at Encounter Mara are fully inclusive. Enjoy a wake-up call with freshly prepared coffee or tea, and a selection of breakfast pastries, followed by a light continental breakfast consisting of rusks, fruit, cereals and fresh muffins.

At around 11 am, delight in a delicious brunch of wholesome food, including quiche, healthy salads, homemade bread, fresh fruit, cold meat and eggs made to order.

Enjoy a lovely high tea in the late afternoon, featuring appetizing sweet and savoury treats. Sit down to a delectable dinner, catered according to your evening schedule, in the main dining tent, or opt for a bush dinner or private dinner on your veranda.
