Day 2
Day 2 | Nairobi → Maasai Mara
Morning flight or scenic road transfer to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Afternoon game drive in one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife ecosystems. The Mara is home to lions, elephants, cheetah, leopard, buffalo, hippo and the largest concentration of big cats on the continent.
Day 3
Full Day Masai Mara
Full day of game drives. Morning and afternoon drives targeting big cats and elephant family groups. Optional hot air balloon safari at dawn (additional cost) followed by a champagne bush breakfast. Evening: optional Maasai village cultural visit.
Day 4
Masai Mara — Game Drives
Second full day exploring the Mara ecosystem with your expert guide. The northern Mara Triangle is particularly productive for lion and leopard sightings. Picnic lunch in the bush.
Day 5
Fly to Serengeti
Morning flight from the Mara to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Afternoon game drive in the world's most celebrated wildlife reserve. The central Seronera region is home to resident lion prides, leopards and a year-round concentration of game.
Day 6
Full Day Serengeti
Full day game drives exploring the Serengeti's varied habitats open plains, kopjes, woodlands and river areas. The Serengeti sustains the highest lion density on earth alongside cheetah, wild dog, and extraordinary bird life.
Day 7
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Morning game drive before transferring to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Scenic drive along the crater rim with views into the caldera 700 metres below. Overnight at a rim lodge.
Day 8
Ngorongoro Crater Floor
Full day on the Ngorongoro Crater floor — a 260 sq km enclosed ecosystem supporting approximately 25,000 large mammals. Black rhino, lions with full manes, elephants, hippos in the crater lake and vast herds of zebra and wildebeest all within a compact area.
Day 9
Departure
Return drive to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for international departure. Time permitting, optional stop at a local craft market or coffee estate near Arusha.
