Eleven ways to
encounter East Africa.
Every experience is personal. The gorilla trek we arrange for you will not be the same one we arranged last month. The migration timing, the guide, the camp, all shaped around your journey.
Every experience is a turning point, not a schedule.
Experiences designed around you, not around a brochure.
There are eleven distinct ways to experience East Africa with us, from standing face-to-face with a mountain gorilla in Bwindi to floating over the Mara at sunrise in a hot air balloon. Below, we describe what each one involves, what makes it singular and how we deliver it. When you are ready, we will build yours from scratch.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking
The most profound wildlife encounter on Earth.
There is nothing that prepares you for it. When you step into a forest clearing and find yourself ten feet from a mountain gorilla family, a silverback, a mother, a newborn still learning to walk, every expectation you had dissolves. What replaces it is something closer to recognition.
Only 1,063 mountain gorillas remain on Earth. Every permit we secure contributes directly to Uganda Wildlife Authority and Rwanda Development Board conservation funds, the infrastructure that has enabled gorilla populations to grow for the first time in decades.
We handle your permit allocation, your lodge positioning, your trekking group assignment and your physical preparation. By the time you set out through the bamboo, every variable has been managed. The only thing left is the experience itself.

Chimpanzee Trekking

The Great Wildebeest Migration
The greatest movement of land animals on the planet.
Every year, 1.5 million wildebeest move in a vast clockwise loop between Tanzania's Serengeti and Kenya's Masai Mara, following rain, following grass, following an ancient instinct that predates human memory. The river crossings at the Mara are the dramatic peak: chaotic, violent, extraordinary.
Timing matters more than any other variable. We track herd movements through our on-the-ground network in the Mara and Serengeti. When you enquire about a migration safari, we give you the honest probability for your specific dates, not marketing language.
We place you on the right side of the Mara river. We brief you on crossing protocol. We select your camp by river access and guide quality, not room décor. This is how you arrive at the right moment, in the right position.
Eight more ways to encounter East Africa
From the forests to the waterways, from the skies to the bush at golden hour, each experience opens a different door to this continent.
